Diving Back Into Blogging

After IPA (Colby) and I finished hiking the Appalachian Trail in 2016 we sort of fell off of the blog bandwagon. I had delayed even writing about finally finishing my A.T. hike since I was sad it was over, and we had plenty on our hands as we transitioned back to “normal” life after the trail.  Fast forward roughly 2 and a 1/2 years, and I had never posted about reaching Katahdin!

As we are about to start a new and exciting journey, it seemed like it might be time to  fire up a blog again.  A blog would let us share photos and stories of what we have been up to without the usual social media sites, and perhaps provide some useful information to others who hope to undertake the same types of travels. This would also give us a chance to backlog some of the amazing sites we’ve seen, and phenomenal people we have met since we got off the A.T.  I hope to be able to coax Colby to jump on with his perspective and wit periodically, and perhaps have some creatively imagined guest posts from the brat cats too.

Thanks for tuning in and following us from afar on our adventures!

  1. Good luck & have fun!
If you reach the Olympic Peninsula, give me a buzz. There’s a few trails & dive sites out this way.
